Welcome to Riada Soccer School's Website.

AS GOOD AS IT GETS

FROM top to bottom, they’ve never known a season like it at Riada Soccer School.

Even with the fine traditions of producing some exciting young players over the years, this surely ranks as the greatest season of them all.

And as it sinks in, everyone connected with the Ballymoney-based outfit will surely feel full of pride.

John Fall said: “The trophies and awards are for the lads all sticking together and showing loyalty to the club.

“When we started the club I had a vision of bringing a big trophy back to Ballymoney, but to have a season like this one is just brilliant.

“It’s been a great season and is thanks to all the hard work of everyone at Riada Soccer School.”

The cream of the crop is John McMullan’s under-17s who have had a season to remember, winning the South Belfast League, Knockout Cup and, for the first time ever, the Northern Ireland Boys’ Cup.

They’ve also clinched a link-up with Irish League Ballymoney United which should provide the promising players with a definitive channel to move forward in the sport.

Manager McMullan admitted: “???”

But it wasn’t just McMullan’s lads who had a flying year.

The under-15s completed the league and cup double last week thanks to a late strike from Milk Cup-bound striker Paddy Draine.

They also reached the last eight of the NI Boys’ Cup and made the semi-finals of the Ayr international tournament over Easter.

Riada’s under-12s, coached by Jackie McBride and Gary McMullan, finished third in their league – a feat matched by Norman Carson and James Hanna’s under-13s.

David Cunningham, known to everyone at the club as ‘Joe Gun’ managed to steer his under-14s to seventh in their Premier League.

John Fall, assisted by Sharon Peden and Gareth Fall, enjoyed a fruitful season with the under-16s. They clinched fifth spot in a tough league and reached the semi-finals of the Knockout Cup.
